This Privacy Policy explains how Dish AI collects, uses, and protects information when you use our app and services. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use Dish AI.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address, and authentication identifiers (Apple/Google subject IDs).
• Usage and access data: install ID, app version, device model, OS version, scan usage counters, and access state.
• Menu analysis data: OCR text extracted from menu photos and generated recommendation output.
• Subscription data: entitlement status and billing events provided by Adapty/App Store systems.
• Messaging data: push/email subscription identifiers and campaign events via OneSignal.

2. How we use information

• Provide, operate, and improve menu analysis results.
• Enforce scan limits, account access, and subscription entitlements.
• Send transactional account and subscription communications.
• Send marketing messages only where you have opted in.
• Monitor abuse, fraud, reliability, and service performance.

3. Data retention

Dish AI is configured for minimal retention where possible. We keep only data needed to provide the service, enforce access controls, support account operations, and meet legal obligations.

4. Third-party processors

• OpenAI: AI analysis generation.
• Adapty: subscription lifecycle and entitlement events.
• OneSignal: push and email messaging.

5. Your choices

• You can manage marketing preferences in-app.
• You can delete your account from within the app account screen.
• You can request support using the contact details on the Support page.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

7. Children

Dish AI is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if this restriction applies to you.
